The difference between treated and untreated concrete

This is a water-based, non-toxic and environmentally friendly penetrating sealer. When sprayed onto hardened concrete, it penetrates the surface to become an integral part of the concrete by chemically reacting with the alkali from the cement to form a non-soluble seal within the pores and capillaries of the concrete, permanently sealing it against the ingress of moisture yet allowing the concrete to breath. This crystal material can also increase the hardness and strength of both new and old concrete whilst reducing moisture vapour emissions and permanently stopping the penetration and flow of water and water-borne contaminants such as chlorides and acids, both on the positive or negative side.

A main advantage is that it can be applied directly onto wet concrete, which cannot be accomplished by other products in the market. It will also help to prevent algae and mildew formation and the staining of concrete.

Applied under a painted surface, it will prevent blistering and flaking of the paintwork, and generally increase the life of the paint.
