Evercrete Repair Mortar Overlay is the latest state of the art material for adding to cement slurry, mortar or concrete in order to produce a high quality surfacing or repair, which has excellent bond strength and flexibility. Repair Mortar Overlay is an acrylic polymer, which gives the cement unique properties that are not obtainable by using any other type of admixture. It reacts to provide both a chemical and physical bond and greatly improves both the adhesion strength and flexibility of the repaired area. Mortars incorporating Repair Mortar Overlay can be laid from as thin as a piece of paper to any thickness required. The resulting material is durable and waterproof and will not delaminate even when laid to a feather edge. The addition of Evercrete Repair Mortar Overlay also gives the mortar or concrete the ability to stick to any sound surface, including stone, asphalt, wood and metal surfaces not normally considered sufficiently bondable. It also provides for flexibility and movement. Pre-blended with water before adding cement, mortar or concrete, the amount can be adjusted depending on the degree of workability required. Typical applications include patching and repair, renders, carpark decks, crack repair, formless concrete as well as structural crack repair works. Repair Mortar Overlay is a unique material for bonding tiles and render to concrete substrates. Repair Mortar Overlay has been approved and used by the Architectural Services Department (ASD) and Hong Kong Land.
